Paul and Gail Patton love to dance. They started dancing four years ago when they were looking for something they could do together. Like many people, their lives were busy and they didn’t spend much time together (except in front of the TV). Paul and Gail feel that spending time together learning to dance has been a rewarding experience. They have learned to communicate better through dancing and they have made lots of new friends. They also enjoy the exercise of dancing because it uses both mind and body.

In June of 2006 Paul and Gail officially opened Top Hat Ballroom and began teaching classes. They purchased a dance syllabus from Dance Vision International and use it as a guide. The focus of the classes is on having fun while learning to dance. Paul and Gail really enjoy seeing the smiles of the students while they learn. They feel that it is very rewarding to see people progress from total beginners to competent dancers!
